Always make a test area before the application to judge the suitability of the product. Follow the manufacturer's instructions at all times.
For interior use only. Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8&deg;C or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

Please Note: Not suitable for floors previously painted with a 2-pack material.

<li>Stir well before and during use</li>
<li>Apply using either a good quality synthetic or bristle brush or medium pile roller</li>
<li>Maintain a wet edge</li>
<li>Do not over apply to cause pooling</li>
<li>Under normal drying conditions surface dry in 3 hours and recoat after 6 hours depending on drying conditions and film thickness</li>
<li>Allow for adequate ventilation during the drying period. At low temperatures or high humidity drying time may be extended</li>
<li>The second coat must be applied within 48 hours</li>
<li> Certain colours may require additional coats to give complete obliteration</li>
<li>The coating must be fully cured before adding weight</li>

Application

Between maintenance redecoration, surfaces may be washed with a warm water and liquid detergent solution to remove surface dirt.

Aftercare

Crown Trade Fast Drying Concrete Floor Paint is a solvent-based, quick drying floor coating with an eggshell finish offering a durable decorative finish on concrete floors such as warehouses, shops and showrooms.

Overview

To achieve the best results it is important that all surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied.

<h4>New Surfaces</h4>
<ol>
<li>Remove any site debris and sweep floor clean</li>
<li>Any oil or grease from site plant/works must be removed with an emulsifying de-greaser in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions</li>
<li>Floor areas to be coated should be acid etched to remove surface laitance, using a proprietary mortar cleaner diluted in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions </li>
<li>Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues. Allow to dry </li>
<li>Prime all areas to be coated with one coat of Crown Trade Fast Drying Concrete Floor Paint</li>
</ol>

<h4>Previously Decorated Surfaces</h4>
<ol>
<li>Organic growth must be treated with <a href="/product/sandtex-fungicidal-wash" title="Sandtex Fungicidal Wash">Sandtex Fungicidal Wash</a> and removed</li>
<li>Remove loose and failing material by scraping or brushing with a stiff bristle brush to a sound edge</li>
<li>Any oil, grease, polish etc. must be removed with an emulsifying de-greaser in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions</li>
<li>For surface dirt, wash with hot water and liquid detergent solution to remove any contaminants, frequently changing the water</li>
<li>Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues. Allow to dry</li>
<li>Feather edges of sound coatings and mechanically dry abrade any glossy surfaces to provide a key. Remove all dust by vacuum cleaning</li>
<li>Patch prime all bare areas (including any areas of making good) with one coat of Crown Trade Fast Drying Concrete Floor Paint</li>
<li>Apply second, or additional coats of Crown Trade Fast Drying Concrete Floor Paint within 48 hours of drying</li>
