Ronseal Stays White 2 in 1 Primer and Paint. An easy maintenance finish for previously painted joinery in need of a cheer up or quick all-in-one option for new projects. Carries the "Stays White for 10 years" guarantee from Ronseal. Perfect for all interior joinery, such as doors, window frames, skirting boards, bannisters and balustrades.

Preparation

For the best results with Ronseal Stays White Primer and Paint, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants. Remove any flaking or peeling paint completely.

Lightly sand the area to be treated (either bare or previously painted) with p120 sandpaper, going with the wood grain and carefully remove all traces of sanding dust with a lint free cloth, dampened with white spirit
On bare wood, treat any knots with a suitable knotting solution and fill any gaps with a suitable wood filler, such as Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler

Application

Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin. Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Stir thoroughly before and during use, making sure to include pigment gathered in the top and bottom creases of the tin
Apply Ronseal 2 in 1 Primer and Paint using a high-quality synthetic brush, applying 2 coats and allowing 4 hours to dry between coats
Further coats may be required for projects with a stronger colour change
