Sandtex Trade High Cover Smooth is a water-based, high performance, trade quality masonry paint. Its high opacity formula covers fine cracks for a perfectly fresh and clean finish. Sandtex suggest that with the correct preparation and application this product will offer 15 years guaranteed durability.
Please note: this product is not suitable for Fletton brickwork.

Preparation
Preparation
For the best results from Sandtex Trade Masonry Paint, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.
- New or fresh surfaces normally require very little preparation, but they must be completely dry before decoration
- Treat any mould or algal growth with a suitable mould and mildew cleaner
- Remove any loose and flaking material by scraping away or brushing down with a stiff-bristled cleaning brush
- Fill any minor holes, cracks and general surface imperfections with a suitable filler
- Chalky, powdery, heavily weathered or very porous surfaces should be treated with a suitable stabilising solution
Application
Application
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
- Stir thoroughly before and during use, making sure to include pigment gathered in the top and bottom creases of the tin
- Apply Sandtex High Cover Smooth apply by brush, roller or airless spray
- 2 coats may be necessary on newer projects but projects being painted in a similar colour may only require 1 generous coat
- Allow 3-5 hours between coats
