Zinsser AllCoat Exterior (Solvent Based). The ultimate, long-term choice for exterior surfaces. Perfect for most substrates, including wood, metal, masonry, plastic, concrete and already coated surfaces. For most projects, there is no need to purchase a separate primer.
This product carries a 15 year guarantee before first maintenance and will resist cracking, blistering and flaking, giving a flawless finish for a long time.
It can also be applied to tricky surfaces such as shiny or glossy surfaces, plywood, brick, lead, asbestos, galvanised metal, bitumen, tar varnish and creosote.
This product is not suitable for flooring of any kind, including decking or any surface that is in prolonged contact or submerged in water. Not suitable for bare PVDF Cladding.

For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, loose and failing coatings or any other surface contaminants.
- Thoroughly clean all surfaces with Zinsser Mould Killer and Remover
- Allow new plaster, cement and stucco to cure for 90 days before coating
- Very hard or very shiny surfaces should be abraded and degreased
- Degrease new galvanised steel with methylated spirits before painting
- Abrade and degrease un-weathered plastisol and powder coatings
- Fill all holes and surface imperfections with a suitable filler
- On knotty or resinous timber, spot prime with Zinsser B-I-N
- The moisture content of timber or cement must not exceed 12% at the time of application
- Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1970's paint surfaces as they may contain harmful levels of lead
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin.
- Stir thoroughly before and during use, making sure to include pigment gathered in the top and bottom creases of the tin
- Zinsser AllCoat Exterior can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray system, thinning is not normally required but can be thinned with up to 10% white spirit for ease whilst spraying
- Apply 2 coats, allowing 16 hours between coats, full cure and hardness after 7 days
- In lower temperatures, drying and curing times will be extended by up to 50%
