Zinsser AllCoat Exterior (Water Based) is designed for the long-term decoration and protection of all kinds of exterior surfaces. It has a microporous, anti-fungal coating on the surface to protect from fungal degradation. Perfect for application to new or previously painted wood, uPVC, metal (including galvanised), brick, stone, concrete and much more. Also suitable for trickier projects including covering asbestos, weathered bitumen, ferrous metals, powder coatings and weathered plastisol.
Not suitable for any areas which have prolonged contact with water or experience footfall, such as exterior decking or flooring of any kind. Not suitable for PVDF Cladding.

For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.
- Remove all loose or peeling paint and paint residue, sanding edges of paint film until smooth- special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1970's paint surfaces as they may contain harmful levels of lead
- Concrete and masonry should be cured for at least 30 days before decoration
- Thoroughly clean all surfaces with Zinsser Mould Killer and Remover
- Degrease new galvanised metal with methylated spirits before painting
- Extremely hard or glossy surfaces will need to be sanded and degreased before paint application
- Un-weathered powder coatings, Plastisol, uPVC and Fibreglass require a light sand and thorough degreasing before decoration
- Allow new concrete/stucco to cure for 90 days before painting
- Fill any gaps, cracks or splits with a suitable filler
- Bare wood should be treated with a suitable wax-free wood preservative
- Spot prime knots in wood with Zinsser B-I-N
- Prime new or unpainted resinous timber with Zinsser Cover Stain
- Prime any bare, ferrous metal with an anti-corrosive metal primer
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not apply if there is a risk of rain, frost or fog.
- Stir thoroughly before and during use, making sure to include pigment gathered in the top and bottom creases of the tin
- Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Water Based is best applied by brush, roller or airless sprayer
- 2 coats will be required for most projects, those with a strong colour change or high exposure to extreme weather may require further coats
- Allow 1 hour between coats, full dry in 4 hours and 7 days full cure, drying times will be extended in cooler temperatures
