Zinsser Cover Stain is an oil-based primer, sealer & stain killer. Adheres to all surfaces without sanding and blocks bleed from resinous wood, such as cedar and redwood. It's an outstanding sealer for exterior hardwood and will work with a wide range of topcoats.
It's ideal for a wide range of projects such as ceilings, furniture, soffits, trim, walls, ceilings, railings and surfaces that have been damaged by smoke, fire or water. Can also be applied to plaster, cement-based coatings, wood, metal, vinyl, uPVC and most types of masonry. It's perfect for sealing and priming interior and exterior wood and ensuring any tannin bleed does not affect the final finish.
Please note: this product is not suitable for flooring of any kind, including decking, roof surfaces or any surfaces being submerged or in constant contact with water.
- Also available in a handy aerosol spray for quick application to hard-to-reach areas: Zinsser Cover Stain Aerosol
