Crown Easyclean Matt Emulsion is the ultimate tough and washable matt emulsion. This product is designed as a scrubbable finish for those areas prone to knocks and scuffs as well as stains and mess. It's perfect for the busier areas in your home and is designed to keep your home looking fresher and cleaner for longer. It's great for walls, ceilings, wood and metal, an all-in-one product meaning you can accent or blend in all with the same product for the best durability.
*Crown suggests this is 200 times tougher than the standard, Crown Walls and Ceilings Matt Emulsion, which is a good alternative for the less-busier areas of your home.
The same, great Crown Easyclean finish is also available in the following:
- For a grease resistant finish, see Kitchen Matt Emulsion
- For a mould resistant, mid-sheen finish, see Bathroom Mid-Sheen Emulsion
Paint the ceiling, then the walls then any woodwork or metal. This is the best order.
For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants.
- Fill any holes, gaps or splits with a suitable filler
- For new or bare surfaces, powdery, polished plaster or dense surfaces should be painted with an appropriate primer
- Bare, porous surfaces should be mist-coated with Crown Easyclean thinned with up to 40% clean water
- Prime bare wood with Crown Quick Dry Primer Undercoat
- For previously decorated surfaces, remove all flaky, defective material and remove all traces of sanding dust with a slightly damp cloth
- Lightly abrade surfaces to be painted for a key
- Treat any heavily stained areas with Crown Stain Block Primer
- Prepare metal projects with an appropriate primer
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
- Stir thoroughly before and during use, making sure to include pigment gathered in the top and bottom creases of the tin
- Apply 2 coats with a high-quality synthetic bristle brush or microfibre roller
- Allow 4 hours between coats
- Projects with a stronger colour change may require further coats
When it's time for a refresh, simply apply a fresh coat of Crown Easyclean Matt Emulsion, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
