<li>Stir thoroughly before use</li>
<li>Use a good quality synthetic brush and apply an even coat</li>
<li>Load your brush generously and apply evenly, making sure you don't over spread</li>
<li>In warm conditions the primer can dry rapidly and over-brushing should be avoided</li>
<li>It is recommended to leave a 4 hour drying time between coats</li>

Overview

For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dust, dirt or any other surface contaminants.

<li>Special precautions should be taken during the surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood as they may contain harmful levels of lead</li>
<li>Ensure the surface is clean and free of any dust or debris by using a vacuum cleaner or by wiping the surface with a lint free cloth</li>
<li>Treat knots and resinous parts with a knotting solution</li>
