- Water-based, chalky textured emulsion suitable for walls and ceilings
- Higher durability and wear than similar textured emulsions
- Finishes to a luxurious 3% dead matt sheen
Craig and Rose 1829 Chalky Emulsion Paint is a velvet-textured water-based emulsion for interior walls, ceilings and wooden furniture and more. Enhanced for better wash resistance and improved wear to ensure a longer lasting finish.
To aid with colour selection, Craig and Rose provide a colour patch. they're a self adhesive, pre-painted colour patch which shows a true representation of hue, tone and sheen and avoids the messiness of applying paint. Being self adhesive, they can be applied to various rooms or locations.

- Apply a specialist, stain blocking primer for heavily stained walls and ceilings

- Stir thoroughly before and periodically during use, making sure to include pigment gathered in the top and bottom creases of the tin
- If being applied to plaster, dilute Craig & Rose Chalky Emulsion Paint by 5-10% to act as a mist coat before following on with two full coats
- Apply using a high quality, synthetic bristle brush, microfibre roller or airless spray system
- Most projects will only require 2 full coats, however further coats may be required if a strong colour change is needed
- Allow to dry for 4 hours between coats
